FAQ

Below you will find some answers, but feel free to contact us and ask for further details:

Watches have fascinated us almost as long as we can remember. Our very first gifted timepiece was a flik flak (Swatch), and we could almost say the rest is history... After that, numerous more models followed through the years growing up, before we were really hooked by horology and embarked on the 'Swiss Luxury' pieces specifically over a decade ago.

Since then our collection has grown, changed and surprised many, but above all given us a smile along the way.

What started as small consolidations to keep the passion going turned into a family business and who knows what's coming next.

But for now we would love to hear from you and/or meet you at our store:

We consider a watch to be something very special; not only does it tell the time but it likely does so for 100+ years.

It is exactly this longevity why a timepiece is regularly purchased to mark a milestone or special occasion.

Often a 'first' watch is bought brand new, but there are many advantages of buying on the secondary market.

This is where we come into the picture to facilitate a transaction, be it to buy, sell or trade:

Vintage

  • Typically 40+ years old, a vintage is in many ways unique and desirable

  • Depending on age the dial may have developed a very nice pattern/patina

  • Each piece has its own provenance (regardless of box/papers) and definitely tells a story

Modern

  • Usually referred to for watches up to 20 years old, though classic designs may be older

  • Due to the design, materials and manufacturing advancement newer pieces are heavier on the wrist

  • A modern watch is expected to hold time much better than its vintage brother (and easier to find with box/papers)

We own all our watches outright (no consignment) but are happy to talk through your needs to see how we can help.

Further details can also be found in our FAQ as well as in the Terms & Conditions.
